The National Water Network is proposing a number of engineering projects to combat the worsening national drought in the western United States.
The projects are also expected to help lower the rising temperatures caused by the drought. We can make a HUGE difference to the drought and the environment.
A network of pipelines and open canals will will transport fresh and salt water all over the country to areas that are in need of water. It is becoming more prevalent that the balance is off and traditional weather behavior is now different.
If started now, some of the projects can be operating within 4 months.
We can’t solve the drought crisis, but we will have a damn good try at it.
